Pearlescent Pigments |
|
An inorganic pigment consisting of natural
mica flakes coated with transparent metallic
oxide layer that possesses high refractive index,
usually Tio2 and/or iron oxide etc. It provides
a metalline and pearlescent effect for various
applications that includes coating, plastics,
cosmetics, inks and others.
Features includes:
|
- Excellent lustre
- Excellent weather resistance for outdoor
application
- Excellent heat resistance (endure calcining
heat of up to 800°C)
- Cosmetics excellent light resistance

- Silver White Series Consisting of mica
flakes coated with a thin layer of titanium dioxide (Tio2).
It can be used alone or in combination with the conventional
pigments preferably transparent colorants and dyes. Depending
on particle size, colour effects ranges from silky smooth
to glittery.
- Interference Series Consisting of mica
flakes coated with rutile titanium dioxide (Tio2). It
provides a high degree on colour play verging on iridescence.
Through the combination possibilities with conventional
pigments and choice of undercoat, depending on the angle
of observation, a number of iridescent colour effects
can be obtained.
- Gold Metalline Lustre Series A natural
mica core coated with ferric oxide layer and exhibit metallic
sheens of exceptional depth and richness. They are normally
used individually or combined with close colour to achieve
rich gold tones.
- Chromatic Lustre Series Titanium dioxide
mica coated with an additional layer of inorganic pigment
or organic pigment. It creates a brighter, purer chromatic
and brilliant intense colour effect, making it widely
used in various applications.
- Mica - Iron Series It exhibits metallic
shades and effects without the use of metal flake pigments.
It has a strong metal feeling, physical and chemical stability
and better coverage performance.
